A car locksmith handles the lock and key problems that leave a vehicle stuck where it is. We come to the vehicle, so there is no need to tow it.

Key will not turn in the ignition?
The steering lock is the usual cause. If the wheel was turned after the engine was shut off, a pin holds the wheel in place, and the ignition with it. Turn the wheel gently left and right while you turn the key. If the key still will not turn, the key or the ignition may be worn. Do not force it, because that is how keys break.
Worn keys
A key that has to be wiggled to work is wearing out, and copying a worn key copies the wear. A key cut to the original specification usually works better. See car key replacement.
What to have ready
