Lockouts never happen at a good time. Keys get locked in the car, a door latches behind you, or a key snaps off in the lock. Call (205) 994-8014, tell us what happened and where you are, and we will come to you.

What to tell us when you call
- Where you are: an address, a cross street, or a nearby business
- What is locked: a car, a house, or a business
- For a car: the year, make, and model
- For a door: the kind of lock, such as a knob or a deadbolt
- Whether a person or a pet is locked inside
If a child or a pet is locked in a hot car, call 911 first.
Lockout or lost key?
If the key is inside the car or the house, it is a lockout, and the door just needs to be opened. If the key is gone, the job is different. A car needs a new key cut and programmed, and a house lock may need to be rekeyed so the lost key stops working. Tell us which one it is when you call.
Staying safe while you wait
- Wait somewhere safe and well lit, such as inside a nearby store.
- Do not break a window. Glass is costly to replace and easy to get cut on.
- Keep your phone charged and close by so we can reach you.
